Jessica owns a counseling practice where she utilizes an Adlerian approach, EMDR, Interpersonal Process, narrative, and play therapy to bring healing to the lives of her clients. Her practice focuses primarily on working with women and children who have a history of traumatic life experiences. Her personal experience with a special needs child who learns differently influences her ability to think creatively about bridging the care she provides in her office to the home life of her clients.
As a woman, Jessica understands the many hats that women wear: partner, mother, professional, jack of all trades….. She is passionate about breaking down the barriers to achieving positive mental health and normalizing the reality of mental health challenges throughout various seasons in life. Jessica embraces the neuroscience concept of brain plasticity that supports hope for change.
